DEACON-CHRISTINE GREGORY

Hello! My name is Christine Gregory, I am married to Stuart and we have three grown up children and a grandson. I'm originally from Blackpool and have lived and worked in Sheffield since I was 18. I was brought up by loving, Christian parents but made my own choice to follow Jesus as an 11 year old, a decision that has matured over the years and which I have never regretted.

I was a founder member at Church on the Corner, alongside Stuart. We both felt it was God's calling on our lived and I have been pleased to serve here in many roles over the years. I love to praise God; I play the keyboard and oversee the worship team at present.

​

My main role as a deacon is to look after catering. We like to fellowship in church with food, from tea and biscuits each first Sunday of the month, to harvest meals, Christmas parties and summer barbecues! Our community outreach involves an over 50's lunch club each Friday which I co-ordinate.

DEACON-SHEILA BANDA

Hi my name is Sheila and I am a part of the church leadership team. I am married to Julius Banda and we have 5 grown up children.

 

In church I am also a part of the Ladie's Group committee and co-ordinate the prayer and intercession group. 

 

 I have a passion for sharing God and love connecting with people, inspiring, encouraging and empowering them to become the men and women God created them to be.

OUR PASTOR- SALLIE WILSON

Hi my name is Pastor Sallie Wilson and I am currently a minister here at Church on the Corner. My aim is to be able to minister to and serve the people that God has called me to, whether they be members, regular attenders of the church or they live within the community, I am always here to help.

 

You can often find me in the church office

where I am always willing to help in any way

or just lend a listening ear if that is what is

required. i am also available to offer prayer

or discuss services, such as infant dedications

and weddings.

 

As a church, we have the community at

heart and we would love to be able to have

a positive impact upon the community as a
